 This Holiday season it's so important to eat the right combination of things. Why? Our digestive system breaks down food best according to a mixing protocol. This means meats with greens, starches with greens, starches with meats are to be avoided, fats with meats are a no-no. Our stomach secretes a combo of enzymes to break down food. Certain mixes are more problematic than others, causing upset stomach or disruption of the daily flow. If you are munching down a typical holiday feast, it is an excellent idea to toss in some super foods, "facilitate" the "flow".
